    Unhappy 1channel streams

I'm using vix 753 on a gigablue quad, 1channel has always worked fine with about 90% of links active but lately less and less of them have been working. Is this a fault with the plugin or is there something I can do?

I'm missing eastbound and down and would like to catch up before tomorrow nights episode.

Not a plugin issue as far as i can gather but due to the legality of the streams they tend to vanish if you know what i mean.

Yea I know what you I suppose it'll just be hit and miss. The links not working got me thinking about codec packs and if there are any that can be installed on enigma2 boxes?

No, media is handled by hardware on your STB not software, so there are no codec's you can add.

From a few posts on other forums and blogs i have just read it seems that the service providers are now actively blocking access to 1channel There is a fix available for now but how long until they hit it again is any ones guess.

It's not so much 1channel it self but the streaming sites that feed it, you can read a little about it here.

Hope the workaround can be implemented into tsmedia as the kids love it!

    1 Channel workaround

I cant take the credit for this as I have taken it from another Forum nor can I confirm it works correctly, however the feedback on there seems to suggest it works.

ftp ipk into tmp file and manually install. (make sure all previous versions are removed first, dont worry about TSMedia)
extract files in overwrite1 (using winrar or other software) and ftp to usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions/1channel
extract files in overwrite2 pack and ftp to usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions/1channel
    then restart gui (enigma2)

    Enjoy!!!
