    Id rather watch SD channels on my Quad.. Than put my card in original Sky HD receiver.. to watch HD..

    Plenty more providers out there.. Sky UK are NOT the be all and end all of TV..

    just a thought I have a Virgin Tivo Box with the XL Subscription if I fitted a cable tuner into a GigaBlue Quad plus would my virgin card work

    Good point. Also would be nice to know about the recording if it does work. The tivo box only needs 1 tuner tho it records 4 channels. Would this be possible.

    That's a shame I suppose it's something to do with the encription they used to block the old cable boxes
