the problem is : when you set recording before and after to 0 then the second or other recordings have no picture, only sound, or there's nothing at all. (0 recording)

for exemple : starting a recording at 14.00 for 10 mins till 14.10 is ok
next recording starts at 14.10 till whenever, well that recording is not right then. (recording on the same channel)

Set the recording setup to 1 min before and x-minutes after, then there is no problem

UStrange...I tested recordings without any kind of problem. What about your drive? How is your setup? And your situation about your cables? Softcam used? I tested these new drivers a lot coz I wanted to check if almost for recordings they fixed and I can saw they have done a good job. No problems at all now

I had a problem yesterday with a timer recording which was 0 bytes length.

Today, I was recording the 6 nations rugby (from Irish DTT) - checked while recording and the recording was 0 bytes length and wouldn't play.
Stopped the recording then started it again - same issue.
Changed back to the old driver, rebooted, tried again - recorded fine.
The recording problems are intermittent and random - using the 02 November driver doesn't have these problems.

DTT is FTA - no softcams involved. And nothing changed between reboots except the driver. Believe me, the driver is the problem.

I have been using Quads now for 18 months.. and at least 3-4 hours of recordings every single day..

In ALL that time.. I have only ever had 1 recording fail.. It was just a black screen for 999 minutes.. and was a 1 hour recording..

I always us MGcamd 1.35a and ALWAYS use Vix..

Also... I'm sorry but I'm italian and in Italy there is a provider that is not free so it is the reason why I asked u about softcam. Strange thing anyway, no problems here also on fta even if channels are on dvb-t or dvb-s and also on multiple recordings and providers and tuners...Trust me I testrd it for one week..

Guys, i have the problem too now, i didn't have this problem with older drivers and i am recording on the same HDD as before.
So it has nothing to do with cam, or recording to a NAS or a HDD inside or external.
The problem simply didn't exist before, now it does.
