    Latest update

    Hi guys,

last night I updated to build 770 from 753 and all seemed fine. When I switched on the box this morning a pink background screen appeared followed by the channel which was also pink and there was no sound. I rebooted the box and it was fine, but when I switched off and put the box on ten minutes later it was back to the pink no sound scenario. Anyone else having this problem?

Read this thread, it clearly says that you must not perform a online update from any image earlier than build 760.

if your on build 770 try updating to 772 via the online updates method, see if that sorts things out.

    Hi Phoenix,

did as you suggested and it was fine initially, but I turned the box off for 15 mins and when I switched it on again it was back to the pink screen with no sound again. Any suggestions? Should I just go back to an earlier build?

What connection do you use? Scart? Component?
Did you set up all your A/V-settings?
Did you try another cable to TV/Amp?

    Hi Rob,

I'm using an hdmi cable which I tested on my sky box and it's fine. When I revert to 753 it doesn't do it, do I need to change my a/v settings for the later builds and what should they be set to? Many thanks

Update:- Just changed my a/v settings and all seems dunky hory now!! Never had to do that before when updating....I learn something new every day!! Unfortunately by the next day I've quite often forgotten what it was!!
