I don't think NileSat is supported by Cross, nor by XMLTV-importer.

Well, I don't think that's the correct naming; after all the contents of all EPG-imports is available thanks to literally thousands hours of free work done by colleague satellite hobbyists.

If you want to use the qualification 'shame' it applies to their providers on Nilesat, who apparently don't comply with EIT-standards. If they would, every receiver would show their complete EPG.

    Hi Rob
I understand what you are saying and didn't mean any offence
I didn't mean it in the sense of shaming someone for doing a bad job, i meant it in the sense of that's a shame 'there isn't one' that all
    eg...mike isn't coming to the party....reply..."oh that's a shame" or
we had to cancel our holiday due to bad weather..reply..."what a shame"
It has a completley different meaning
i always appreciate the hard work that everyone puts in to make us hobbyists life easier and for things that i could never do
    Thanks

    OK.
But I did look up 'shame' in my dictionary before replying.
Having said that: English is not my native tongue (and idiom is rather difficult), so accidents can happen.

Ah, that explains why you sometimes sound cross with me. None taken, thanks.

you can use webgrab++ to get epg for these channels
you can configure it to access epg of these channels from etfarag.com
another site, elcinema.com has the same epg data, but webgrab++ cannot grab it.

webgrab++ export this information to xmltv where you can access it from crossepg

The other option is to register at epgs.com and they have this information also

    Hi Redshield
Thanks for the info on webgrab++
I managed to download some epg data for the channels i require
I'm left with a xml file called guide
What do i do with this file, can i just put it into the receiver (gblue quad) and it will read it or do i have to use it through crossepg and if so do you know how i would do it
    Many thanks
    Richard
