after removing box from unit I have noticed there are a couple of scratches that are on top of box (outer cover), these are not noticeable whilst sat in a unit and have no effect at all on how good and powerful this box is

yeah that's right so long as its all brand new, guaranteed and shown working before you leave then the box is yours. I live in a bog standard 2 up 2 down terraced house with a sky dish on my south facing wall. (I will supply the brews also but no way am I getting up a ladder )
