    Display > 16:9 as

    Hi there,

What should this be setting be set to? I have a 16:9 plasma screen and have selected just scale. I want to keep the original aspect ratio for all programmes.

    Hi,

I have installed the auto resolution plug and the "display as" option in AV menu seems to be controlling the aspect ratio as when I switch through letterbox, pan & scan and just scale I can see the picture resize.

    thanks

Ah, yes, that is correct indeed. Resolution and aspect ratio are two different things and AR, as you would have guessed, controls the resolution.
Sorry if I misinterpreted your question.

    Hi,

No problem. So what should I select to maintain the original 16:9 aspect ratio? Pan & Scan?
