    Hi there,

    what is AC3 and how do I use it on the Solo2?

    What are the benefits etc..,

    So do I need a Amp with surround sound to plug the Solo2 into to get AC3 audio?

    Yes, unless you set downmix ac3 to yes in which case you will get stereo sound only
