magic eye?
Yes i think it is,i don't want to plug it in and damage my new solo box
Solo 2 doesn't have tv out, you'll need an fm modulator to get the picture to your bedroom, then you can use a link cable for the remoe but I don't think the sky one will work.

Thanks for the help i might just get another box im so pleased with the one ive got might be easier
There is a different way to deal with it.
1) You need a reliable network in your bedroom. Good WiFi (more than 30Mb/s constant will also do, but I prefer a cable connection). (Powerline is also an option)
2) Buy a raspberry PI (don't get the fancy Android sticks as XBMC can not play HD videos with them). Install the linux XBMC on it and connect it to the network.
2.1) OC the raspberry PI to 900Mhz (1Ghz will make it better but 900Mhz is good enough for me)
3) Install XBMC remote on your Mobile (Android / iPhone not sure if it works with Windows Phone 8)
4) Configure it, if you need help with some thing just ask me and I'll let you know.
And its done, it will work with live TV, EPG and even play all your Blue ray HD videos flawlessly.
Good luck.
I might look into this myself mate, I've tried android box, wdtv live etc and none do what I want, raspberry pi in my list (might take a few weeks lol)
It is incredible how well XBMC can run on such a slow device. OC'ed @1Ghz XBMC works flawlessly and even at lower speed due to the hardware GPU acceleration run 1080p videos smoothly.
I went the geek way and got myself a quad-core 1.6Ghz RK3188 Android box with 2GB of RAM and I was extremely disappointed to see that I could not even make it run 720p videos smoothly. I am confident that with the new version of XBMC the hardware acceleration will be a reality for Android boxes also, but until than just stick to the cheap raspberry PI.
Good luck.
