Original DM800 Sim in Clone Box

I have 2 dead dreambox 800HDs

Original DM800 Gets stuck on Boot if tuner is plugged in
Clone DM800 All ok, but Sim2.01 is knackered, I have tried loading another ssl, but no luck, either says file size too large in dreamup, or if I flash with NCF Repair, doesnt work

So I want to put the original Sim in the Clone box. I have tried original SSL s... the only one it likes is 69, any others gives No CA, but cant find a firmware to suit, always says about not genuine, but surely clone image wont work either... Ive had no success anyway

Anyone any ideas?

Sorry but we dont support cloned hardware from any manufacturer so thread closed.

The forum does not support clones. If you use a genuine sim, you must use genuine bootloader and image.

With regards to genuine unit, have you tried a different tuner? Is bootloader latest?
