    Broken network?

    Hello,

This morning I woke up to find that my network on my Uno stopped working. I rebooted the box to no avail. I tried resetting the network settings, both DHCP and manual but the "Link" box has a red cross over it, as opposed to a green tick. The lights on the network port light up when I put the network cable in and extinguish when I take it out.

The image is OpenVIX 3.0 and I haven't changed anything in the past months on it. It just stopped working. I will replace the cable and see if that helps but in the meantime - any ideas?

    Thanks
    Alex

P.S. It's a genuine box bought from WOS some years ago.

Did you ever make a backup image? If you did, load that image and see what happens. If not first thing to try is flash with the latest image via USB. If that doesn't cure it, it's going to be a hardware problem, either the receiver or something else on your network.

Try rebooting both the receiver and router together.

Yep, it is. Homeplug lost sync with the one near the router - resyncing it fixed the network. Obviously, wasn't an issue with the Uno at all here.
