No mate. The memory leak renders the box almost unusable. You would know if yours had the memory leak.

    Yep, Cacheflush is my favourite.

When using vtuners (eg usb dvb-t tuners) to expand the tuning possibilities on the Duo, you'll probably find that after a while the Duo runs out of memory and needs to be rebooted to restore reliable operation. The Cacheflush releases the memory cache on a regular basis which seems to mop up the 'leaked' memory and allow it to continue without reboots.

So for me Cacheflush is essential.

Recently, there's been a few changes to the Vu+ drivers which relate to vtuner... so maybe I should disable Cacheflush to see whether it is still needed.

    OpenVix:
    VU+Duo2 -- 2 x Twin internal DVB-S2 & DVB-C/T2, 2 x USB dual DVB-T (Avermedia Twinstar [AF9035], Hauppauge Nova-TD [Dib0700]) = 8 tuners
    VU+Duo4kse -- internal Sat FBC & twin DVB-C/T2, 2 x USB dual DVB-T Hauppauge Nova-TD [Dib0700]
