    What is this

    I have this flashing up in the display of my duo2 looks something like this (o) think its something to do with record may be mistaken.
    Cannot find out how to stop it. Tried pressing record button does not stop it
    Vix image 3.0.720
    Any ideas.

    It's the update icon, it flashes to notify you of a available update.

    Green = Stable update ( no major issues found, limited testing ).
    Red = Unstable update. This indicates that we may have found a minor error and to use at your own risk, although to be honest it's usually nothing important and the image is generally fine.

    Yes.
    Menu -> Setup -> System -> Software update -> Background check = no.
