    two question about the box settings

    I just have a couple of question about the box.

    Why dose it take so long to boot up when I start it from deep standby

    finally I have upgraded from a spiderbox, but I have a load of films on the hardrive. how an I get them files to work on my new box.

    Bit like loading windoze takes time to get up and running.

    No idea on recording, depends what format the spidetbix saves to. Not got one so cost really test mate.
    Take the HDD out and give it s try as long as you done initialise it in the venton your recordings will not be affected.

    so the long boot up time is nomal I will try & find out what format the spiderbox users

    Boot times can vary greatly depending on what plugins / picons etc you have installed.

    the files are in a .trp format any idea if there is a plugin to play them on with a vix image

    not to my knowledge, you may need to convert them to another format for the receiver to pick them up properly although i could be wrong.
