Customisation of panel screens

I have just modified my first lcd on the duo2. Nothing drastic from default, mainly moved and resized.

I want to know if the vfd can be customised at all?
I have noticed a few things like update indicators flashing over channel names etc.. so just want to tidy it up.

Run a VU DUO for 3 years with OpenVIX,since 2010. Running a VUDUO2 since 2012, again with OpenVIX :-)
Now running extra VU+ Zero's in other rooms from my Duo2!
