Motorised Dish Issue - Problem with twin feeds into box

I have finally setup my VU Solo 2 using latest VIX image. The dish is moving fine but only using 1 tuner. I have a twin LNB and would like to use both. If I try to setup the 2nd tuner as equal to tuner A then I cannot move the dish. I understand that only the 1st feed in controls the motor but I though that if I set tuner 2 to (equal to) it would work the dish as well.

Once all is set up it seems to work fine until the box selects tuner B then I cannot move the dish. I would like the twin tuners working for Sly channels.

Also I was told by the installer to use Vhannibal motor lists but others say Cateyes list please let me know which is best and updated the most

Any help would be appreciated

You can only use the one feed to control the sat as that's the one which goes via the motor.

As for lists I use vhannibal and it's fine for me, best try both and use the one that suits you.

Thanks so how can I select between tuner A and B on vix / VU Solo 2?

Not sure what you mean mate. Box will automatically pick the tuner. If your on a sat recording and want to watch another channel on that sat it will default to B if it's in another channel on another sat than you will get tune fail.

If your not recording and want a channel on another sat than box will move box.

You can select tuner for recording but nit much use here as if you chose b box will move sat if you want to watch another sat.

No, of course not: 'equal to' would mean that both tuners have a motorised dish and can control it. That's not the case.
If you scroll through the options you'll see a.o. 'second cable from motor' (or so) and that's exactly what your configuration is. Then the box knows that one tuner can control the motor and the second tuner can look at the satellite the dish is pointing at.
