    Trouble with a capital T

Hi lads my box just stopped working. I turned it off, waited about 5 minutes and rebooted. Now its stuck on starting on the front panel with a red light next to it. See pic. I have tried different versions of images and nothing.

I know it can be very frustrating when things like this happens, i read someones post recently with the sme problem they turned the box off unplugged from wall and left for 30 minutes. They then plugged in restarted box and it started working, sorry can't give much more but give it a try.

mine does this when ever i try the BH image, it simply refuses to load any BH image at all, the only way we would know whats causing it would be if you could create a serial boot log, failing that try flashing a different image then ViX again and see if that makes a difference.

Ok I loaded up an original image to the Uno and the Starting changed to Vu Uno. Then the box booted to the Vu+ sign and did no more.

    Hi mate

When you flash does the box see the usb stick and proceed to install the image or do u when powering up just get what your picture shows.
reason i asked it could be the red light of death but normally when this happens you get just the red light so for others to help we need to know if the receiver is responding to the usb flash and remote as these dont work when the red light of death occurs

    Hi mate
So the usb ports must be working for the flash to run you are reporting whats happening on the stb display but whats happening on your tv screen does it show the setup, remember when you flash the box is in virgin state and you have to complete the setup before it will show any channel info on your display
