Currently have a box 5800sx setup for the past few months and have had nothing but trouble with it I'm on my second one and this one is again faulty
So I think it may be time to purchase something a little more customisable

I had been considering the higher priced vu's etc bait with the info coming out about a possible new pairing system for uk sly I'm trying to get something in a reasonable price bracket

Then venton HD1 has caught my eye in the twin tuner variant

I am just after some first had views on tho receiver

Basic needs for me are
To record and watch something else (twin tuner)
Run a few plugins like tsmedia and iplayer/,,on demand plugins
Have a good full 7 day peg (cross epg)

thanks for the reply I do like the look of it i know the box is new but i cant see much support at all for the box apart from the images posted on here

Most of the OE-Alliance member teams support the Venton receivers as well as VIX so there is quite a bit of support out there for these boxes.

I can confirm venton hd1 is great box I bought 1 off here few weeks back great comms too

I am thinking about getting the hd2 now as I have a spare 500gb 3.5" hard drive laying around and the hd1+ only supports 2.5"
