    hdmi problem?

    i have maxdigital xp1000 on build 683 excellent box.
    my problem being,every so often i lose picture for about 5 seconds goes black screen and then comes back on.
    problem seems to be random not specific times neither or channels?
    thought it might be hdmi cec being on but not enabled on box or tv?
    any ideas?

    Try a different HDMI cable

    picture just goes black for 3 or 4 seconds then appears again with tv saying hdmi connection?
    fantastic little box just very annoying when this happens?

    I had this but went with a new hdmi 1.4 cable and all works now

    This is usually a problem of the cable or the TV.
    Can you try another TV, just for testing?
    Maybe switch HDMI-check to off?
