    AutoBouquetsMaker Error!

    Hi Folks

When I try to run ABM scan I'm getting on-screen Error [Cannot read Data] and I am also missing various channels Disney Movies HD, Watch HD, Dave HD etc etc. [SID not found in PAT] etc etc...

Does anyone have knowledge of a fix for this or experienced same problems and found a fix. I'm at my wits end with it everything I try isn't working

    I'm currently using Vix 3.0 Build 685 3.1.1

Any help would be extremely appreciated!!!

I don't use ABM. I have just run it and found the channels you have mentioned without encountering any issues. I suspect there is an issue with your hardware. Can you try your receiver at a friends?

Hey abu I have tried it both ways with ABM and just a fresh run through but still no joy. I have another 2 boxes and they're running fine so I suspect you may be right the issue is unique to this particular Unit..

ABM works perfectly on my Uno and these very channels are working perfectly but i only have the single tuner in this unit for my tests.

What's your thoughts phoenix do you think it may be a hardware issue, say one of the Tuners?

no idea sadly, if it was a problem with the twin tuners i would have expected more users to have reported it by now and so far none have, not even those members of the beta team with these tuners. as i advised in your other thread check your cables and f-plugs are in good order and snug, with no rips, tears, or loose braids as these can all effect signal and do strange things to satellite receivers.

Its a strange one because if I press green satellites button and services all scanned channels are there in alphabetical order and I can access all channels from there, but alas that process is a little contrived. I know I can move said missing channels but unfortunately they don't fall into the EPG in numerical order, it really is very very frustrating and puzzling TBH..

We are aware of this problem in relation to the use of a motorised dish. Do you use a motor?

OK, then it looks like faulty feeds.

yes, check that they are in good order, with no rips, tears, or breaks, check that your F-plugs on both ends are snug and that no loose braids of wire are touching the inner core of the coax as this can also give issues. it's a long process of elimination to find the route cause of your issue.

ABM should work with multiple providers selected; I run it with all providers selected and have no problems.
