    HELP! HD2 In a Bootloop

Just received my HD2 this morning and im stuck in a bootloop.

It happened when i tried to a system update. The box rebooted and is now stuck in a bootloop.

Is there an emergency firmware available for this? I don`t really want to send it back if there is a way to fix it myself.

    Any help would be appreciated.

It's a very easy process to flash the receiver just follow this tutorial and use the 679 build image from the link in the tutorial.

    Downloaded 679 image from herehttp://www.world-of-satellite.com/en...on-Unibox-HDx/

Copied the Venton-hdx folder to the root of the usb drive

plugged it into the HD2 while off

switched on the HD2 via the switch on the back

Im currently doing a full format of the usb drive using HP format tool just in case

Did you use the correct USB port ?, It's important that you use one of the rear USB ports for flashing the receiver.

Thank's for letting us know, i'll ask the sponsor the full flash process for the HD2 and amend the tutorial accordingly with the "press up" part
