iplayer On Demand Problem

Build: 666
Location: Ireland

Following errors after program selected

ERROR: WriteN, RTMP send error 32 (42 bytes)
ERROR: RTMP_ReadPacket, failed to read RTMP packet header
gst_element_query_position failed in getPlayPosition

So maybe not build specific!

It was working fine on the ultimo until i updated to 678 and now when i open the Iplayer part of OnDemand and select a program to view it just displays a blank screen.

as you can see i'm now getting a lot of these errors


The others receivers are still fine including the solo2 and TM 2T which are also on build 678.

Thats exactly the fault i have reported on my Vu Duo and Solo 2.
ITV player and 4OD work perfectly just iplayer does not and shows blank screen

I think it worked ok on build 668

Should have said that its BBC iPlayer with the problem - 4OD and ITV working.

Also not working on ET4000 with build 665

I did say BBC iplayer in first post.. and yes im in UK

I can confirm iPlayer on 'ondemand' not working on build 678 on my vu+ solo2 box (vix). I was on build 667 before and was working ok.
I just get a blank black screen.

I too have just tested it on both ultimo and tm twin, and not working on either...

It will be looked into but no timeframe as the devs for this plugin have real lives and jobs too.

Is it not possible to roll back to drivers from build pre 668 ?
I did try doing back up to this version but no joy, i think when back up it does not update drivers etc ?

i has nothing to do with drivers, Vu's latest drivers were issued and incorporated into the image a month ago.

you can see the date on the drivers by going to Menu> Information> About.

Thats what will be looked into to find the cause, as i said though you will have to be patient as the dev responsible needs to get some time off work to look into it.

I tested it on my Panasonic tv set, and worked fine from there...

using a solo2 here on build 665,, Bbc iplayer was working fine onWed night which is last time i used it, but not working now....so think it maybe to do with links to the URL,s... or similar, nothing to do with the boxs? just my opinion, cheers satcat
