    External HD

    Hi guys,

    Im going to take out the HD from my Sky HD Box and put in a external caddy and connect to the usb port on my box so I can record to the external HD drive. Im running VIX. Do I format the Hard drive NTFS and then mount it ?

    Shouldn't be any need.
    Just initialise it when you connect it to the box.

    After you attach it, just go to Menu -> Setup -> Hard Disk -> Initialisation.
    Select the drive & press red.
