Yes, was messing with enigma2-plugin-extensions-tsmedia-oe2.0_1.8_all.ipk on my et9000 last week and did not realise it had crippled my nfs server.
After much messing around, I found that the portmapper /sbin/portmap was dying with a seg fault after installing this plugin and any rpc function required.
I use a modified WDLIVE media player as my nfs client, and it was working okay, however it was only when I did a cold boot did it fail to mount with an RPC connect error. Was able to recreate by running portmap in foreground '/sbin/portmap -f', and issuing a 'showmount -e svrip' command on client - portmap will dump.
Only way to fix it was to reflash.
Unbundled the ipk, and could see nothing being installed outside the Extensions folder, so don't know how its happening - must be some library function being replaced when the plugin is loaded?
Also flashed with OpenPLI and OpenATV images just to see if it was VIX specific, but found the same problem each time.

A pity, because some parts of the plugin where useful for me.

Sorry, what I meant by my statement was that it does not fix the nfs server problem if you remove it. You need to reflash.

    Just an update on this.
Installed this plugin manually by unbundling the files from the ipk and copying the files to the appropriate directories.
Rebooted and no problems with portmapper crashing and nfs seems to work. Also plugin seems to work.
On my todo list to understand what's the difference between using 'opkg install' and copying the files manually.

Would suggest that anyone who wants to keep their box stable, should not mess around with these plugins, as you could be forced into a reflash or restore to get it back working again.

Glad to hear it works for you, but it dont work for me, and I can recreate the problem each time.
There is one scenario which seems to work, and that is to create the nfs mounts on the clients before installing the plugin on your server.

other than the obvious movie streams, is there anything else you are doing/watching with this plugin that would be of interest to others? I was hoping to be able to watch the footy but no such luck so far unless i am doing something wrong?
