Hi folks this maybe a long shot but here goes.
Bought a new(ish) Vu+ Solo from a forum member and got me thinking about how receivers or motors are storing and retrieving motor locations etc from the motor. I've found where (I think) my current motor locations are stored in my old old (tm500S), has anyone tried copying these to say a new box from say your old receiver before rather than re-setting them up from scratch again (ie. positioning dish from new box etc)?? Obviously being linux based the file structure would be in the same place so would look presumably look in the same place when it comes to find motor position.
Just a thought more than anything, would make updating your box easier (if you have a motorised setup using Diseqc) than setting the positions for your new box.
File loc: /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/config (looking at rotor table lines)
