    2.5 HDD for Duo

My 3.5 seagate barracuda has just failed in my duo, I only have a 2.5 western digital barracuda drive. My friend has insisted it is better to fit a 2.5 drive as it will be quieter and less strain on the box.

How should I mount it on the hdd bracket though, should I drill holes in the bracket to match up with my hard drive screw holes then just put grommets in as normal and screw hdd to bracket...

Yep that's pretty much exactly what I did with the TM twin when I fitted a old laptop drive in it.

yeah, no need for drilling holes, especially if you have any intention of ever selling the box on.
Zip ties will do the job & cause no damage.
