    DVD Conversion from Recorded programs

    Hi Guys

As i am still a newbie please bear with me, is there any plugins that will run on my Uno
to convert recorded programs/movies stored on its internal HDD, to DVD format, then
save back to my local network HDD, at the moment i am having to ftp files from Uno
then to temp dir on pc HDD, then use a standalone Win 7 program

    Thanks in advance
If its not broken don't attempt to fix it, it could get alot worse "

Why do you want to convert to DVD format (I guess you mean ISO?)??
If you want to play on the PC(?), why don,t you just stream to the PC?

    hi twol

you have a valid point in asking format
I want to make permament dvd's i.e avi, mpeg etc..
I know how to stream, but dvd's can be made to play in standalone player

provided your Uno is in same workgroup as the PC, you should be able to see the box in your network and any storage attached, so you can use the recorded programs (ts) files as direct input to your win7 program........ Or you could just buy a cheap media player like mede8er that will play most SD/HD/3D files including iso rip from dvd/bluray

There is; it's available via the feeds ('DVD-burn' or so).

If you want to change MPEG 2 TS to MPEG 2 to burn to DVD format, one of the best is Videoredo, you need the newer version with H264.

You dont need to edit any thing, just use the inbuilt logs manager in the image to send them directly from the receiver to our Dev's inbox.

Just look for things associated with your cam or any data you consider private but there wont be much if any thing to worry about.
