gigablue HD 800 SE bootloader version

    Hi all,

I just bought a new Gigablue HD 800 SE and I wonder how I can check the default bootloader version. I would like to know which bootloader is installed in order to update it (if necessary).

    Thanks

No I have purchased it in a store in my town.

    The sentence:
All units purchased from us since 31st August 2012 ALL have the very lastest bootloader pre-flashed, there is no need to re-flash the bootloader unless a newer bootloader is released by GiGaBlue.
is valid for every unit purchased after 31st august 2012 independently of the place you bought it?

    thanks

No, the store in your own town could have installed an older bootloader, no harm in flashing the newer one yourself though so you know what's on it.

I don't understand why the latest bootloader 31/08/2012 here (http://www.world-of-satellite.com/en...aBlue-HD800SE/) is just 2 files inside, while the same one here http://archiv.openmips.com is with a different files structure.

Which is the correct one? why are different?

    thanks
