Ok, so as I mentioned earlier, I posted my problem on another forum, the BlackHole forum:The problem seems to be fixed with new drivers for people using BlackHole image on the Solo 2 (read the link I posted) but I am still having the same problem so it seems to be a Vix issue and the drivers not updating maybe because I installed the latest 2013-02-07 drivers yet the Information box on Vix still shows the driver version as 2013-01-25. I uploaded the driver files to /lib/modules/3.3.6-1.2/extra/ and fully reboot the box.Code:http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/deinterlacing-problem.10859/
I hope someone can help me fix this problem because I want to continue using Vix as it is the best image out there.

Driver version will show old details, even though you are using the updated drivers, until the VIX team includes the drivers in an image update. I believe it i only a few days away.
First of all, as has been mentioned many times already on this forum: no image has any influence on the picture quality, only drivers do. And all images use the same.
Secondly, also mentioned several times and also in the posting above mine: manually placed drivers will never be reflected in the about-screen. But as you replaced the drivers yourself and rebooted the box, you know for sure you're using them.
