i think my gigablue is dead

my brother updated the open aaf software on the box througth the settings on the box in the menu sreen and when i restarted the box all it does is boot in blue on the box and the standby ligth is red is there anythink i can do to fix thanks for any help

Try to reflash a new image to it using usb stick, if it will let you do it

Next time you update, back up all your settings using Dreamboxedit and which ever FTP program you use first and then just update it with USB

I've had that before with my Solo, now i don't bother with the online updates, i just do it with the USB stick. It takes forever on the Solo but the box has always worked afterwards.

If all else fails, I'm not even sure if jtag info is available for these boxes yet. I've never had to do it to mine yet so i haven't looked for it. Hopefully though it won't come to that.
