    mkv files

    hi people does anyone know if the tm 5402hd can support mkv hd files through a usb memory stick attached to it or will it just be xvid and avi files thanx

    You must remember that"mkv"is just the container the video and audio file are stored in. So you could have multiple Mkv files all made using different codecs, so, some may work while others may not, it all depends what the codecs are.

    i used to download and watch dexter and the walking dead, as mkv's, and watch them on a 5402, but around 20 mins from the end, the audio would vanish, no matter what, so i ended up watching with no problems on a TM800 instead
