going to swap my external hard from 80gb to 1 tb. is there anyway i can copy the content of the orginal 80gb to new drive

if it is a USB hard drive just connect to computer copy to a folder on your desktop and then copy that folder onto new device.
just make sure you mount the new hardrive when you plug it in.
How are you connecting them?
can you connect both at once, if so, you can telnet in and use mv or cp to move them or copy them.
computer will not read drive,
using filezilla, i can see hdd but cant see 2nd drive to move files to, or download to comp, critical file transfer error
