Hi,
some new pictures of the Duo2.

It seems she can handle 2 dual tuner cards. The third slot might be used by a WiFi antenna.

And a new rumor from a German board: The Duo2 might have WOL. as I said only a rumor until we see the box.

Ive been waiting for gigablue to release the sat tuners for the quad as I want 3 sat and 1 DVB-t tuner config.
I see the Duo2 can (possibly) take 2 twin tuners. Would there be a possibility of 3 sat and 1 DVB-t tuner config.
I dont want USB tuners (had bad experiences)..

why would you want a dvb-t tuner? just so you can use when got no sat?

As far as we know now, each of the two tuner slots of the DUO2 can hold either a single DVB-S2 tuner, a dual DVB-S2 tuner or a DVB-C/T tuner.
So anything like
2 x DVB-S2 or
4 x DVB-S2 or
1 x DVB-S2 + DVB-C/T or
2 x DVB-S2 + DVB-C/T
should be possible as far as internal tuners are concerned.

At the moment many people use external (i.e. USB DVB-C/T) tuners; apparently that works well.

And be advised: VU+ has no internal DVB-T2 tuners; so if you want that the only option is an external tuner.

In short: my ideal DUO2 would have 4 x DVB-S2 internal + 1 DVB-TS USB tuner.

It looks like in Germany the first price list for the DUO2 has shown up: from €499 for two single tuners up to €579 for a box with two dual tuners.

A UK retailer now has them up priced at £519.99 with 1 dual S2 tuner.
