    picons ?

    1st off hope every has a happy new year
    2nd im trying to make my own picons for myself and read they need to pe 100-60
    now most people are yousing photo shop im using coral mpaintshop pro.
    my question is when i shrink my image to fit the size of 100-60 it goes very pixalated when i zoom it in . any ideas on where im going wrong

    Sorry if this is in the wrong section cant find the relivent place to put it

    Pretty normal behaviour if you zoom in beyond 100%, for it to go pixelated.

    erm say for bbc 1 i wanted to have a picture of doctor who and the bbc1 logo would that work ?

    Ofcourse, you can do whatever you want, there's no rule written in stone that says that you have to place a logo there, that's just what 99.9% do/want. But if you like something different, feel free to do so.

    When saving the final result, make sure it's saved as indexed color, otherwise it won't show in enigma2 (on your tv).

    ok thanx i dident no u could have pictures thats great , not quite sure what indexed colour is but i have got tons of ideas i wanna do he he

    if i can figure it out and such i will do as i beleive most are yousing photoshop where as im using corel paintshop 4 but untill i get it working right i will , do u have to call each channel by a certain code name ?
    and i got plenty of time on me hands so will be a good project to do is there anyone i can pm about it if i get stuck ?

    I believe you have to name the files the service reference of each channel.

    So for BBC1 HD it will be named 1_0_19_1B1D_802_2_11A0000_0_0_0.

    You can use dreamboxEDIT to find the right service reference, which I use for my picons.
