To be very clear, I'm not complaining, and I'm very grateful for what everyone does in support of this project in their own spare time. All I try to do is provide positive and constructive feedback.

No im not saying your complaining but with all our plugins the source files are there for users to adapt for their own needs.

I asked for the same back at post #251 but it was never taken on board. I saw another post suggesting that the coders wanted to keep the script as simple as possible in response to other additional feature requests, so I never pushed my request any further. Hopefully this request will be implemented one day.

Can I ask why you've moved away from the LraiZer script? I find it works perfectly for my needs.

I didn't move away from the LraiZier intentionally, I was using it as a manually installed plugin on older images on older Enigma 2 STB's.
I think AutoBouquets and CrossEPG are the most significant addon's ever to created for Enigma 2.
I bought a brand new Vu+ Solo2 as a long awaited upgrade and I found the OpenVIX image to be fantastic, containing everything I need and stable right from the get go.
AutoBouquetMaker is of-course pre-installed and to be honest, I thought ABM was AutoBouquets, just bundled into OpenVIX.

I could consider installing LraiZer's script instead, but generally I like to keep my boxes as lean and as standard as possible.
If I continue to use OpenVIX going forward (and I see no reason not to), I don't really want to go down the road of having to remove and install similar plugins as part of an firmware upgrade if I can help it.

ABM is petty much perfect for me (as was AutoBouquets), being able to support Supplement.txt in ABM is literally the only improvement suggestion I can think of!

I'm the same and I don't want anyone involved with ABM to take our suggestions as any form of criticism what-so-ever!

I'm looking at the Python source and I would imagine a file check routine for a file similar to supplement.txt and inclusion of its contents would need to go in bouquetswriter.py around line 164 but unfortunately, I too am out of my depth when it comes to writing the code.
I suspect what might take me forever to figure out, would take the guy(s) that wrote this script minutes to procure :-)

Im using the Vix ABM, I ran the Irish channels on abm to get Setanta channels, then using Dreambox edit imported them into the sports section.

My question is if i run a rescan to update the channels will it remove my Setanta ?
I also removed all the hidden channel sections using dreambox, will rescan put them all back ?

OK did rescan and oh dear yes it completely overwrites everything puts back hidden channels and moves setanta out of sports... ah well

Use lraizer autobouquet it puts setanta in the sports section by default.
