i did similar test. I was recording 5 channels (HD) at the same time. No problems at all!

The idea here is that Channels among the same Transonders will allow you to do multiple recordings.
I.e. if you point to 28.2 Astra and watch a Sly Movie channel, then you should be able to record a few if not more movie channels because the channels are broadcast from the same transponder of the satellite.
