    Ethernet set up

    Hi all, please be gentle with me as i am new to this.I have set up my 202e and want to connect to my hub via an ethernet cable but dont know what settings i have to put in? I have had a little bit of a go at it but keeps telling me connection failed.

    If you have connected the unit to your hub, the network should be seen by the unit, at a guess, ( I dont have this unit here ) you need to go to menu/setup...and look for the network button/tab

    go into it, and id avaialable, use the wizard, if not, make sure DHCP is activated, restart the unit, and hope fully you will be connected
    Units; VU+Ultimo/duo/DM800/7020HD/tm9100
    1.2 channel master/quad feedhorn/36volt /vbox
    1 fixed dish, and 1 motorized 1mtr dish
    and a pile of redundant cards/cams

    What are you doing when you get the message connection failed? Are you trying to use some of the online services? If so you need to upgrade to latest firmware.
