Hi guys
Does anyone know where to download rytec files onto a laptop and then ftp them into dm 800. if so what folder do you put them in.
I am in turkey and cant get a great signal to the db but can download the files onto lappy. Is this possible.

the unit would use you internet to download, so sig stength should,nt be a problem
Units; VU+Ultimo/duo/DM800/7020HD/tm9100
1.2 channel master/quad feedhorn/36volt /vbox
1 fixed dish, and 1 motorized 1mtr dish
and a pile of redundant cards/cams
I have to use a weak internet signal so not possible to download via web. But lappy can get a good signal. Is it possible to download into the lappy and tranfer the file into db via ftp
If Db + dreambox than it may be possiable to do, you can def connect to it with FTP no prob but not sure if the files will be in the correct format to be FTP across
