Vix now for me as DE as ceased to be.
Vu+Ultimo + Vu-Solo 1.1mtr Alloy dish + 60cm fixed, TM HH motor, hate footy LOVE motor-sport.
I was and still am a fan of VTI but I will be sticking with the vix image.
Currently a big fan of PLi but in the next few days I will be trying out vix, if its as good as being reported, I may well be changing.

The advantages of VIX over DE image, is that it has a newer enigma/oe, has newer drivers that support media playback better from recordings (and some enhancements for mkvs etc, but you'll have to check vu's website for what the enhancements are) and supports xmltv & .dat for epg data... Oh, and I've found it runs a lot faster than dream-elite image, and suffers less with hanging (i.e. cogs constantly whirring)...

I'm still using DE as it does what I want at the moment . I've downloaded VIX but need to get eveyone else away from the TV to try it out.
I expect V1.1 will be out before I get a chance to install it :-(
except for the name - which in German sounds a little bit like -WAN*ER- a very nice image! VTI and VIX for me, but only one at a time....
vti for me do like vix but prefer vti
Unable to change my vote but I've upgraded from DE to Vix and I'm very happy with improvements !
