I use two DVB-C tuners and don't need xmltvimport. So, i removed this plugin. After that, complete softcam control was lost. Reinstalling fixed it. Is this a bug?

xmltvimport is a integral part of the ViX EPG so removing this will result in you essentially breaking the image.

Ran todays update on my ultimo, got a problem that when watching a recording and pressing stop, then choosing a channel to watch the box just keeps playing the recorded program in a scrambled state and not switching to live tv no matter which channel i choose to watch, box is also recording a channel whilst this is happening. full restart wont stop it, only when i cancel the recording will it allow me back to live tv.

Intermittant problems with Mgcamd , having to restart cam on certain channels, I have CCcam aswell installed to switch between my servers,, would it be a issue that i would need to delete the CCcamso that Mg would be default,,

Hi.. I used MGcamd all the time and never have any issues with it stopping..

I would say the problem to to do with your mg_cfg file..

Try this one and let us know if it works or not..

Is there a way to contact the Marusys/Vuplus developers? I think, i found a kernel bug about streaming several HDTV channels and DVB-C. I already contacted support@vuplus.com a week ago and got no feedback yet.

Hey All,

I thank all the team for the work and understand that this build will undergo some changes/updates etc...

Since full clean install..and update that happened a couple days ago, I seem to experience the 'odd' channel becoming 'garbled' when watchin and switching channels on a local PC...

I mean, I use streaming to my desktop PC A LOT...and recent builds seem to have played some part in stream issues that were not present in earlier 2.4 and prior builds etc.

Its not often, but for last 18 months of owning both an VU+ Duo & Ultimo it seems to happening more often on the latest builds...(my GFX drivers are upto date)

Also, I love 'webinterface_old' & the bouquet editor that accompanied it,both which no longer appear to work on latest 0E3 builds, Open webif is ok but i prefer older ..
I see at least this error:
Request failed for: /web-data/tpl/default/tplBouquetsAndServices.htm
Status: 405 Method Not Allowed

webinterface-old is indeed not compatible with ViX 3.0.
The only reason we still have it in our feeds, is that it can do some backgroundtasks that are not (yet) in the Open-WEB-IF (such as support for Fancontrol2).

What is it, you can't do with the new version? Or is it only the lay-out?

i suppose its just the layout per say...and the bouquet old editor :-)
Open Webif has to be manually refreshed...
However even this morning...a recording I made is playing as a 'green screen'..
And now more channels show green screen when playing on PC with VLC....

I ask this, as ViX never ever green screens!

RVD apologies, I mean when now streaming to my PC...its just not as good as it was...eg BBC1 & 2 currently will not stream to my PC..
always worked before E03...
Should i be posting my findings on dev forum?

which exact image build are you on and have you updated the the new FPGA ??.

I tried the openvix-3.0.245-vuduo I was unable to load any ipk files onto the image except HD Glass 16 skin, no cccam, no tspanel which I now know is not compatible.
