Was looking at an Ultimo but this looks better..and £339...Thats good...
Wow it boots fast...Hopefully the images with it boot that fast...
How does that boot speed compare with other gigablues (its 2-3 times faster than my Duo or Solo.
The one downside for me is no sat cards available till 2013. (Any idea when as that could be 3 months upto 15 months.)
No one has one so apart from vid not sure if any one can give an actual user feedback. Iirc the dvbs2 us around Q1/2 of 20103.

another downside only one card reader. The boot speed is indeed very nice but the ultra fast switching speed does not really impress me.

should be available for sponsor around 10/10/12 - can pre order now. Any chance you could ship with vix image installed by that date? or will the image need much more testing?
also, does the quad have gigabit ethernet?
i'm ready to order one from the sponsor, as £339 seems a great price in relation to ultimo and duo2 which will likely be much more. I really need to know if the remote sensor is anywhere as effective as the vu duo. As my duo is currently out of sight and (harmony) remote still works well.
