tuner problem after standby Vix 2.4 latest

not sure exactly what is happening, but i think after having the duo in standby only one tuner is coming back on

i had a scheduled recording and once it started only channels from that transponder were available...

checked what was recording and it was only the one movie

went into setup and checked each tuner, they were fine, but everything was ok once i exited the tuner scanning/setup..

not sure uf anyone else is encountering this... only just changed to Vix from blackhole which was fine

    cheers
    abs

I'd check the feed into the affected tuner to make sure it is not loose or shorting, check the f-plug to make sure it is a snug fit and there is no play.

So it appears that going into Tuner Config, " woke up" the 2nd tuner,

that is a bit strange, as yet, no other reports of this happening
    Units; VU+Ultimo/duo/DM800/7020HD/tm9100
    1.2 channel master/quad feedhorn/36volt /vbox
1 fixed dish, and 1 motorized 1mtr dish
and a pile of redundant cards/cams

both set as simple, static dish, pointing to sly...

it is like it woke up, everything tight cable wise, the box locked up about an hour after this, just had spinning vix logo top left, had to force off.

    will report any further strangeness!

    cheers

This thread is almost a year old and with a different image version.

It would be best for you to create a new thread for your problem, also list exactly which image your using including the build number and we can go from there.

Vix 2.4 will never be the latest...
are you still on 2.4 or reporting the same issue on a current build?

cant be using 2.4 on the mara / odin 9 as that image was never made for that receiver.
