Yes.
Even if the interface is not SATA 3 (I'm not sure about that) the protocol allows for backwards compatibility.
There's always a (very small) chance that a drive will not be compatible with a box, due to a specific sub-protocol not being supported.

All the SATA3 drives I've tested have worked fine.
