Software update

Has anybody had problems with the software updates? I've been trying the past couple of days, but crashes after ATTEMPT to update and will not restart, have to use rocker switch on rear. When I check for updates --> install updates(install then restart Enigma) it looks like it is executing the update/command, but then it says 0 of 2 updates/packages updated. I tried this about 5 times yesterday with no luck, I just disabled the update feature in the end.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

what updates ?.

if your talking about ViX image updates the image is at present on 2.3-204 and there are no further updates yet. so no need to run the software update option.

Blue button --> VIX---> software update, what updates are these? I also had the globe symbol flashing on the info bar before I disabled this.

That is to update the image when there is a update available, if your using the current latest public version 2.3-204 then you have no need to update the image. What do you mean by "Globe symbol" ? if you meant the green flashing icon that signifies there are updates but as i said 2.3-204 is the current public version.
