    is there a new image out soon?

    i heard that a new kernel was going to improve the blind scan...?

    as always we cant get into release dates with the image, all i can say is that we are testing the image very thoroughly and when we believe it is ready for general release we will make a announcement.

    Blindscan is a plugin, not part of the kernal. Right now there are only the Vu+ Uno, Ultimo and the ET9x00 that have blindscan capable tuners so blindscan really is in its infancy as far as E2 receivers go so there hasn't been much development yet. But suffice to say improvements are on the horizon.

    Menu --> Information --> Info shows the present image; Version 2.3 build 204 is the latest (but not for long now: new version should be out shortly).
