    view live webstreams on ET9x00

I would like to watch live webstreams on my ET9x00, has anyone been able to do this.? I've seen a lot of threads about streaming FROM Duo or ET to the internet, but not the other way around(From internet to ET9x00). Is this possible without using something like VLC?

I tinkered around with Hbbtv, I could surf the web fine, but couldn't get it to play streams.

    Thanks.

The ET's under ViX already support HBBTV (be aware that only a limited amount of channels support HBBTV; when available you can activate HBBTV with long-red).

Live streams are possible via a number of plugins. I attached some of them here; they will be on the feeds at the next image-update.

    Thanks for your reply Rob,

I tried the multimediathek, but it failed the genuine Dreambox validation test, so I was unable to use it.

Does anything exist , like a "normal" browser like firefox, so I could access any web address, not just the weblinks?

Basically, I would like to watch live internet streams(sports) on the ET instead of running the 30M HDMI cable from PC to TV, I'm not sure if this is possible?

    Thanks.

I did try the ET web browser, but it won't play internet streams. Surfing the net is fine though.

I'm going to revive this thread. Say...I want to view a live stream from a reputable U.S. website/T.V. network that works fine on my PC, is this possible with this box?

Where would I get this "key"?

Is multimediathek the only option to view live web streams?

    Thanks.

    Hi,
the author will not give away anymore keys for multimediathek. There is webmedia from pcd which is open for all receiver. 1channel is a special plugin for streaming.
