i would suggest cut yr losses on it maybe sell it as faulty repairs or spares

and continue on with the uno unless you get a reasonable repair quote

try emailing support@vuplus.com and see if they willing to do an out of warranty repair

Summing up time/fuel/money/p&p...i think i will see if anyone can use it for spares - and go forth with the Uno as replacement.

possibly worth it - can you check out some postage prices at your end also I dont need the remote so you could possibly sell that seperately, as to what the duo is worth with a dead tuner I really dont know

Good point. I will make a thread in the whats it worh-section. I guess thats a bit easier, if several are interested in the corpse.
