i have tuner b as 28.2 and a usals but dont know how to get to thor 1 west to check i think dish is there as i read the dummys guide and i heard the dish move when i followed the instructions

just for now,...go blue button...(brings up channel list "fraverites" ) first set bbc uk, and confirm as working ( to yourself ) the select blue button again, select 13 east,....within the listings are free to air channels, select RIA 1 ( italian ) and see if it clears

i am pressing blue but it is not giving me the favorites it is giving me the option to chose an extension

thanks...no need....but ria..if it froze, it means your dish has either over shot, or under shot 13 east....go to tuner setup, and adjust your east/west setting

where are you ( approx ) ?

if your east / west setting is say,...002.850 west change it to 001.850 west....go to sat finder, select 28 east, check the sig leval, then re select 13 east
then check sig leval again, if you get sigs going up down as it passes 23 east 19 east then 16 east...then 13 east, and a no sig..it means your dish alignment is out

i am close to Birmingham and have put in lat an long from dishpointer.com in but without the minus as i did not know how to do it

- = west + = east,...you need the west setting so at a guess....
002.00 west 051.000 north should be your approx start point

it is 052.5 north and 002.08 west

ok put in those settings to start with, then adjust the west setting by a degree +/- 1 degreeuntill you get 28/13 east this is not ideal, but its a start point

you do have a lot to do, to get the full benifits of this unit, but trust me..its awesome

I have to cut out now...got work in the morning. others will cont to assist,

once the basic setup is sorted,...we need to go jedi, but within the rules

i have used my spider box to bring the dish to 13 west and have done both tuners as simple and single one for 13 and for 28.It will have to do for the moment now need to load my softcam

this will get you softcams, suspect you need CCcam

config file goes to ETC

cam goes to TEMP,...then blue button,....VIX...install local ext

Why buy a box like this went you have no clue how to FTP do some reading before buying boxes of this sort I no we all have to start somewhere but a bit of reading and researching helps
