hi if i do a clean reflash for this image do i have to do software updates before i put anything else on the box?? im asking cause no matter what else i do i keep gettting the vix logo spinning so going to try this to try and sort it and want to get it right thank you

When is the vix spinner coming? is it when you first boot up or when you try to acces recordings or something else?

when i press cool tv guide on some buttons like single epg and just channel hopping also when i turn on/off cccam oscam and sometimes crashes the box.i use a simple skin with little info utra violet one causes

cool tv guide is no longer compatible with ViX 2.3 and its author will not fix it for use with the image.

so could that be the same with the skin i use??

Quite likely as not all skins have been personalised for VIX,best to change back to one of the vix skins - day or night and uninstall coolepg and see if you still get problems.
