    Cant FTP to Vu+ Solo

    Hi

I have just received my new Vu + Solo and put the V.0.1 image on the box. Trouble is it doesnt pick up a signal or drive the motor etc. How do I ftp the files that as per the sticky to the box when this situation occurs?

Im used to using DCC with my DM500S , I can connect to the Vu+ with DCC but there is no file structure on the left side of the screen for the vu+..??

How do I get these files onto it.

I also have a constant message in the top right saying loading defaults...

    Any help appreciated

I expect you have connected your Solo to ethernet and you know the IP address?
    suppose it is 192.168.1.10
    in windows explorer you type
    Code:
    ftp://192.168.1.10
    and press enter
login name is root, leave the pasword empty.
Then, when you see the rootmap, in explorer go to "page" in tge menu and in the bottom of the menu it says something like "open FTP site in Windows Explorer". Then you can copy, move and delete files.
You can also download Filezilla, that is better, bcause then you can manage the rights of the files.
    Code:
    http://filezilla-project.org
